Agathe Mareuge is Associate Professor (Maîtresse de conférences) in German Studies and Cultural Mediation at Sorbonne University - Faculté des Lettres since 2017. She is a member of the EA REIGENN. She wrote her PhD thesis on the late work of the poet Jean Hans Arp (Sorbonne University, 2014). Her postdoctoral research (University of Zurich, SNF-project, 2015-2018) focuses on (neo-)avant-garde movements and their actual developments in art and literature. She is interested in intermediality and multilingualism as well as in performance art and works in an intercultural perspective.


Agathe Mareuge is co-director of the Masters Program MEGEN (Médiation culturelle et traduction, espaces germanique et nordique) since 2018.

In this Masters program, she teaches cultural mediation and coordinates the interdisciplinary cultural project organized by the students each year, dealing with the cultural areas in which they are specialized (german and nordic countries) and cooperating with other cultural institutions. She also teaches project management and gives a course on "Arts and artistic institutions. The case of the festivals".
